Carmen ñ Theta Digitalís New DVD/CD Transport
Theta Digital is introducing Carmen, a new DVD/CD transport, at the Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas, January 6-9, 2000. Thetaís newest DVD/CD transport, Carmen rivals the picture and sound quality of DaViD, at a much lower price. Carmen will retail at approximately $3,000.00. The release date will be February 2000. The New Carmen CD/DVD Transport offers third generation DVD technology, yielding video performance of extremely high quality. Technological refinements also allow greater ease of setup and use. According to Thetaís listening panel, Carmen achieves a level of sound quality never before achieved in a CD or DVD transport at this price. Options will include RS-232, Digital Video and Progressive Scan (480P).
