Reese Witherspoon was named best actress for her role in ""Election."" The supporting nods went to Haley Joel Osment for ""The Sixth Sense"" and Catherine Keener for ""Being John Malkovich."" The 112-member society includes film critics and scholars whose primary affiliations are Web sites and online services. The group gave its best foreign-language film prize to Germany's ""Run Lola Run,"" with Mathilde Bonnefoy being singled out for best editing. ""The Buena Vista Social Club"" was chosen as best documentary.
