Shipping to dealers is expected to commence during the first quarter of 2000.Casablanca II offers meaningful improvement over the original Casablanca, such as much more flexible setup system, and 24 bit/96K capacity. It allows for up to 8.4 channels, and includes Thetaís proprietary Jitter Jail circuitry, which virtually eliminates jitter.Theta Digital claims the new controller delivers significant sonic improvement over the original, highly acclaimed Casablanca, which will be of particular interest to the companyís audiophile following.Casablanca II improvement will be made readily accessible to owners of original Casablanca units in accordance with Theta Digitalís policy of making upgrades and updates as easy and cost-effective as possible. As with all other aspects of Casablancaís Open Architecture design, upgrades will be individual selectable.Highly versatile speakers setup allows users to precisely fine tune settings for each speaker: Casablanca II offers over 140 potential choices per speaker, in comparison with the 3 (small, medium, and large) conventionally offered.
