Worldís Premiere DVD-Projected Film Festival

The world's first DVD-projected film festival, the alternative No Dance Film & Multimedia Festival is proud to announce its line-up for Park City 2000. The ten film competition line-up will include eight world premieres to be digitally projected on DVD, and the festival also includes an exciting collection of feature and short subjects for the Multimedia Lounge centrally-located on Park City's historic Main Street. Beginning Saturday, January 22, No Dance will throw open the doors of the Multimedia Lounge, and screen four thrilling days of feature film, short subject, documentary and music video selections on a state-of-the-art plasma display. Located in the Main Street Mall (333 Main Street), the headquarters is the epicenter of all No Dance activity. The competition screenings will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at The Gateway Center (136 Heber Avenue and Main Street). The 150-seat theatre will present competition selections via DVD-projection. Competition films are eligible for the Grand Jury and Audience Awards, and all screenings are free. New this year to No Dance, and designed specifically for filmmakers typically ``shut out'' of the Park City experience, is the No Dance ``Walk-On'' Program at the festival's headquarters. From Saturday through Tuesday, filmmakers can sign up to preview thirty minutes or less of their film on VHS. No Dance will provide the audio/visual equipment and sign-in sheet. All competition screening DVDs are created by new No Dance sponsor Zuma Digital. Zuma Digital is a private company with a strong focus on DVD technologies that provides products and services to a diverse base of clients.
