TaraLogic And Quantum To Introduce Tape-Less Video Recording
TeraLogic, Inc., a leading developer of broadband digital television and data services products and technologies, has announced it is working with Quantum Corporation's Consumer Electronics Business Unit, part of Quantum's Hard Disk Drive group (NYSE: HDD), to enable the delivery of advanced features including tape-less digital video recording, channel personalization and Web browsing for the personal video recorder (PVR) market. Quantum and TeraLogic are collaborating to develop an integrated new set of technologies and products for PVR set-top boxes. Quantum QuickView hard disk drives and TeraLogic's Cougar platform are optimized for digital TV recording and high-definition digital TV.
