StormAudio-Led 15.7.8 Home Theatre Demo At CEDIA Expo 2025

August 25, 2025

Press Release

Joining the number of extravagant home theater demos at CEDIA Expo 2025, the theater will employ a 60-inch infrasonic subwoofer to deliver a 'visceral' experience.

At CEDIA Expo 2025, StormAudio, PMC, madVR Labs and Barco Residential will come together to present Sound Room 6 (SR6), a 15.7.8 home theater demonstration, joining the list of extravagant home theater demos aiming to impress show attendees.

The immersive audio home theater demonstration will feature the StormAudio ISP Elite 32 Analog processor, offering up to 32 channels of decoding and processing, complete with integrated Dirac Live Active Room Treatment and support for all immersive formats through the new ADEC decoder, including Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos, MPEG-H, Sony 360 Reality Audio and DTS:X Pro.

Power for the system is delivered via six StormAudio eight-channel amplifiers, which the French brand says provides high output and low distortion and effortless control for complex speaker configurations.

Those StormAudio amplifiers will be driving PMC loudspeakers. Renowned for studio-grade performance in home environments, the British manufacturer has configured the room with MB2 XBD loudspeakers for the front left, center and right channels.

Surround sound is handled by PMC ci140 loudspeakers, providing full-range, dynamic support throughout the rear and side walls. Overhead effects are rendered using PMC ci65 height speakers and low-frequency energy is delivered by six PMC BST subwoofers, carefully placed and integrated to deliver tight, impactful bass.

Colossal 60-Inch Infrasonic Subs Provide Visceral Feel to Reference Theater

For the first time at CEDIA Expo, the system features a 60-inch infrasonic subwoofer from Deus Audio Machines. The Invicta 60 produces visceral, ultra-low distortion bass with lightning-fast transient response that extends below the limits of hearing, and redefines cinematic immersion.

On the visual side of the home theater equation, the Barco Residential Heimdall+ CS projector provides high levels of picture quality using RGB laser light and delivers 6,000 lumens of brightness to help maintain image quality in challenging environments. Barco states the projector offers homeowners ultra-quiet operation with a 29dB noise rating. With support for HDMI 2.1, Heimdall+ CS is also capable of high-frame-rate video to reproduce smooth gaming content.

The home theater video is processed by the madVR Labs Envy Extreme 8K, a video processor known for its reference-quality dynamic HDR tone mapping, AI-based 8K upscaling, and MotionAI frame interpolation. It also repositions subtitles for optimal placement and readability, provides instant aspect ratio handling and directly controls motorized screen masking without the need for a dedicated control system—ensuring the image always perfectly matches the screen and content with maximum immersion.

Additional contributions to the SR6 home theater experience include MC² Audio’s D100DSP and D100ND amplifiers.

The room also features luxury seating from Eleanor Rigby Home, which provides handcrafted seating solutions. Completing the home theater system is Simplified Acoustics with its new BDP acoustic panels, which use a new formula of Binary Amplitude Diffusion over an absorptive panel that is said to be more effective in dealing with off-axis waves than traditional binary amplitude panels.
