Press Release

Leica Camera is returning to CEDIA Expo 2025 in Denver, CO to showcase the Leica Cine 1, its first-ever cinema TV, at the premier event for home technology professionals. This year's presentation highlights the ongoing innovation and refinement of Leica's home entertainment system, demonstrating the Cine 1's enhanced features, performance, and continued commitment to delivering exceptional cinematic experiences. Leica is expanding into the broader home entertainment category, meeting customers where they are and collaborating with storytellers, designers, and creative leaders to strengthen its position at the intersection of technology, design, and lifestyle.

The Leica Cine 1 sets the benchmark for premium home cinema, fusing Leica's signature optical precision with next-generation triple-RGB laser technology. Designed to deliver over 25,000 hours of brilliant performance, it projects strikingly bright, true-to-life images with rich color depth. At its core is a finely crafted Summicron lens, engineered to match the projection size and maintain flawless sharpness across the entire display. With its minimalist aesthetic and intuitive setup, the Cine 1 transforms any living space into a refined cinematic destination.

Available in 100-inch and 120-inch 4K formats, the Cine 1 takes picture quality even further with Leica Image Optimization (LIO™). This advanced processing ensures lifelike color reproduction, smooth tonal gradations, and enhanced contrast for truly cinematic visuals. Paired with an integrated Dolby Atmos® sound system, the experience surrounds you in both sight and sound, creating an immersive environment without the need for additional equipment.

The Cine 1 is built with connectivity at its core. Running on Google's smart TV platform, it provides instant access to popular streaming services while offering HDMI and USB inputs for devices like consoles and Blu-ray players. Wireless screen mirroring makes it easy to cast content from personal devices, and Leica's projection technology is designed to be gentler on the eyes than conventional flat panels—ideal for long viewing sessions.

Blending performance with efficiency, the Cine 1 consumes less power than comparable large-format OLED televisions thanks to its short-throw laser system. Its durable aluminum housing, automatic dust cover, and precision-perforated side panels combine practical engineering with timeless Leica design. Measuring a compact 24 x 16 x 6 inches, the Cine 1 integrates seamlessly into modern interiors, offering a sleek alternative to oversized wall-mounted displays.
