Press Release
HARMAN Luxury Audio Group today announced the Revel Performa4 Series, a landmark new collection of high-performance loudspeakers that advances Revel’s 30-year heritage of scientifically rigorous acoustic engineering. Comprising two floorstanding models, two bookshelf models, a dedicated center channel, a powered subwoofer, and matching floor stands, the Performa4 Series is engineered to deliver music with the utmost purity, exactly as the artist intended. The series will make its official public debut at AXPONA 2026, April 10-12 in Chicago, IL.
“At Revel, science is at the heart of everything we do,” said Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “The Performa4 series represents the culmination of thousands of hours of research, development, and real-world testing. With our new 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide and advanced DCC and MCC transducers, we’ve raised the bar for what’s possible in this class.”
Thirty Years of Science. One Defining Series.
Founded in 1996, Revel has spent three decades at one of the most advanced acoustic research facilities in the world, conducting thousands of hours of listening tests, psychoacoustic research, and computer-aided modeling unavailable to most manufacturers. The Performa4 range is the direct expression of everything that work has produced, its DCC and MCC transducer materials, 7th-generation waveguide geometry, and precision crossover architecture are the culmination of 30 years of scientific pursuit, refined with each generation. The Performa4 series is both a celebration of that legacy and a bold statement of where the science leads next.
Next-Generation Technology Throughout
Every Performa4 model is built around Revel’s newly developed Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC™) and Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) transducers — advanced driver materials that deliver exceptional rigidity, reduced mass, and dramatically lower coloration compared to conventional alternatives. All woofer and midrange drivers feature newly patented cast aluminum frames engineered using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for optimal airflow, reduced weight, and improved resonance performance, with inverted surrounds and integrated trim rings for a sleek, uncluttered front baffle aesthetic.
At the heart of each model is Revel’s proprietary 7th-generation Acoustic Lens Waveguide, which mounts the 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter for seamless integration with the midrange driver. Engineered using advanced acoustic modeling software, the waveguide delivers superior directivity control, greater efficiency, improved dynamic range, and reduced distortion, even far off-axis, creating a more immersive and natural listening experience across a wide listening area.
Refined Industrial Design
The Performa4 series reflects a modern design sensibility that honors Revel’s heritage while projecting a distinctly contemporary aesthetic. All models feature magnetically attached speaker grilles for a clean, fastener-free look, polished black accent detailing, and rigid cross-braced cabinet construction. Gently curved cabinet sides are finished in premium wood veneers, available in Natural Walnut and Black Walnut, ensuring the Performa4 is as visually compelling as it is sonically impressive. Every detail has been designed to please the eye as much as the ear.
The Revel Performa4 Lineup:
F346 – Flagship 3-Way Triple 6.5-Inch Floorstanding Loudspeaker
The F346 is the flagship of the Performa4 Series, featuring three 6.5-inch (165mm) MCC cone woofers, a 6.5-inch (165mm) DCC cone midrange, and a 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter with a 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide. Dual rear-mounted ports, dual 5-way bi-amp crystal brass binding posts, and solid aluminum feet with optional floor spikes complete the specification. The F346 delivers a frequency response of 30Hz–40kHz (±6dB), 88dB sensitivity, and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, with recommended amplifier power of 20–250 watts.
F345 – 3-Way Triple 5.25-Inch Floorstanding Loudspeaker
The F345 offers the same acclaimed Performa4 architecture in a more compact floorstanding package, featuring three 5.25-inch (130mm) MCC cone woofers and a 5.25-inch (130mm) DCC cone midrange paired with the 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter and 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide. Dual rear-mounted ports, dual 5-way bi-amp crystal brass binding posts, and solid aluminum feet with optional spikes round out the design. The F345 delivers a frequency response of 36Hz–40kHz (±6dB), 87dB sensitivity, and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, with recommended amplifier power of 30–225 watts.
M146 – 2-Way 6.5-Inch Bookshelf Loudspeaker
The M146 is the larger of two Performa4 bookshelf models, featuring a 6.5-inch (165mm) MCC cone woofer paired with a 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter with a 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide. A precision 2-way crossover with premium air-core inductors and dual 5-way bi-amp crystal brass binding posts ensure flexible, high-quality connectivity. The M146 is sold as a pair and achieves a frequency response of 43Hz–40kHz (±6dB), 86dB sensitivity, and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, with recommended amplifier power of 15–200 watts. The optional MFS4 floor stands position the M146 at optimal listening height.
M145 – 2-Way 5.25-Inch Bookshelf Loudspeaker
The M145 is the compact bookshelf model in the Performa4 lineup, featuring a 5.25-inch (130mm) MCC cone woofer and a 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter with a 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide. Sold as a pair with 5-way crystal brass binding posts, the M145 delivers a frequency response of 54Hz–40kHz (±6dB), 85dB sensitivity, and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, with recommended amplifier power of 15–150 watts. Compatible with the optional MFS4 floor stands.
C245 – 2-Way Dual 5.25-Inch Center Channel Loudspeaker
The C245 provides a dedicated center channel solution for home cinema systems, seamlessly matching any Performa4 floorstanding or bookshelf loudspeaker. Dual 5.25-inch (130mm) MCC cone woofers flanking a 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter with a 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide deliver exceptional dialogue clarity and tonal consistency across the front soundstage. The C245 achieves a frequency response of 55Hz–40kHz (±6dB), 86dB sensitivity, and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, with recommended amplifier power of 15–200 watts.
B140 – 10-Inch 750-Watt Powered Subwoofer
The B140 is the ideal companion to any Performa4 system, featuring a 10-inch (250mm) fiber-composite cone woofer driven by a 750-watt RMS / 1,500-watt peak Class D amplifier for deep, effortless bass to 26Hz. Rear-mounted controls include a variable low-pass filter (50–150Hz), LFE input, phase control, volume, and auto on/off. Revel’s patented Constant Pressure Gradient rear port eliminates turbulence for pristine, distortion-free bass.
MFS4 – Matching Floor Stands for M146 and M145
The MFS4 floor stands are crafted from extruded aluminum and steel to position the M146 or M145 at optimal listening height, with built-in wire management and optional spikes for carpeted surfaces. Sold as a pair.
