IRMA Annual Recording Media Forum To Feature Keynote Speakers

Megatrends Author John Naisbitt And Academy AwardÆ-Winning Disney Imagineering President Brian Ferren Keynote Speakers

The International Recording Media Association has announced that renown futurist John Naisbitt, author of Megatrends, and the Academy AwardÆ-winning Bran Ferren, President of Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development and Creative Technology, will deliver the keynote addresses at Content Delivery 2000: The 30th Annual IRMA Recording Media Forum, scheduled to be held in La Quinta, California from March 15-19, 2000. Naisbitt's scheduled presentation, entitled ""High Tech/High Touch: The Co-Evolution of Technology and Culture,"" will explore the power struggle between the technological, artistic, religious and economic forces which are currently unfolding. Ferren's scheduled presentation, ""Thinking About The Future: The Medium Is Only Half The Message,"" will explore the emotional impact of content delivery and illustrate how changes in technology ñ and the world -are changing not only the way people communicate but also the manner in which recording media professionals will conduct business as a result. The International Recording Media Association (IRMA) is the advocate for the growth and development of all recording media and is the industry forum for the exchange of information regarding global trends and innovations.
