AMX Corporation (NASDAQ: AMXX) has announced the introduction of ViewPoint WAVE portable wireless touch panels that deliver 2-way wireless convenience at the speed and performance of a wired connection. An industry first, AMX WAVE technology, employing 2-way 2.4 GHz digital RF spread-spectrum data transmission, has. been offered for full-size and mini-sized AMX tabletop touch panels. By integrating WAVE into the ViewPoint, AMX is also the first to deliver the benefits of 2-way operation in a compact, hand-held touch panel. Two models are available, the Color WAVE ViewPoint with a 6-inch 256-color LCD and the Grayscale WAVE ViewPoint with a 6-inch 16- shade grayscale LCD.
