TributariesÆ continues its innovative tradition with the introduction of three new HDB 15-Pin interconnect video cables: the HDB15MM, HDB15M/3R and the HDB15M/5B. The Tributaries HDB15 Video Cables are manufactured from components specifically engineered for the transmission of HDTV signals ensuring wide bandwidth and low capacitance. The HDB15 Video Cables were designed for interconnections between video processors, video switchers, monitors, LCD panels and projectors, computers, and other devices with HDB 15-Pin connectors.The Tributaries HDB15 cables feature a matte black jacket that surround 14 conductors with an overall high density copper braided shield and an aluminum/MylarÆ wrap. The most critical internal components are the three 75 ohm coaxial cables, which are designed to carry the delicate RGB video or YP P component video signals. The horizontal and vertical sync signals are carried on shielded twisted pairs. The high degree of shielding for all the internal conductors provides an extremely low noise signal medium, while the tip-to-tip 75 ohm design ensures complete signal absorption at the display device.The Tributaries HDB15 Video Cables are available in three configurations. HDB15MM is terminated with two gold-plated HDB15 male connectors suitable for video applications as well as VGA, SVGA or XGA computer monitor connections.The HDB15M/3R is terminated on one end with a fully gold-plated HDB15 male connector, the other end is terminated with three True 75 ohm RCA male connectors providing component video connections from a processor or receiver to a display device. Also available with right angle connectors.The Tributaries HDB15/5B is terminated on one end with a gold-plated HDB15 male connector, the other end is terminated with five True 75 ohm BNC male connectors providing RGBHV connections from a processor or receiver to a display device.
