Valenti Unveils Copyright Assembly

Testifying before the House Telecommunications Subcommittee, Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) President Jack Valenti introduced the Copyright Assembly, a consortium of video content creators and deliverers dedicated to fighting for the rights of copyright holders. In addition to the MPAA, the assembly includes the major networks and sports leagues, Time Warner, the National Association of Broadcasters, National Cable Television Assn., the Directors Guild, the Screen Actors Guild and the Writers Guild of America among others.
