Designed by acoustic engineer/physicist, Arthur Noxon, using the same patented acoustic techniques that have made ASC one of the prime suppliers to professional recording studios and high-end audio manufacturers world-wide, Proponents feature graceful good looks that compliment most home hi-fi and home theatre environments. While each Proponent model is intended to provide specific performance benefits, working together they can significantly upgrade all performance aspects of a system: Cornerstone - Doubling as graceful pedestals for your favorite artwork, Cornerstones work like ""bass traps"" for cleaner, deeper low frequencies by reducing the strength of room modes that result in muddy, poorly defined response. Like the original Tube Trap, this is designed to be placed in the corners behind the loudspeakers.
