Newer Technology Announces New Lower Prices

Newer Technology, the largest producer of Apple Macintosh upgrades, announces new lower estimated street prices on MAXpowr G3 and G4 upgrades, FireWire 2 Go as well as Newer's USB product line. The estimated street price for uDrive, the USB floppy drive for Apple iMacs, iBooks, PowerBooks and other USB equipped Macs, has dropped $10 from $99 to $89. The estimated street price for the uHub 7-port powered USB hub is also $89, down from $109. FireWire 2 Go has declined $10 from $149 to $139.Pricing for MAXpowr G3 500/1MB/250 and MAXpowr G3 ZIF 500/1MB/250 has dropped from $749 to $699. The MAXpowr G4 350/1MB/175 is now priced at $599, down from its previous $699. The MAXpowr G3 300/1MB/200 will no longer be produced, making the 400/1MB/200 the entry-level G3 upgrade. The MAXpowr G3-L2 upgrade that installs into the Level 2 cache slot is also out of production.
