Time Warner Cable (TWC) has announced its plans to carry digital TV signals, including select HDTV programming from CBS Network owned-and-operated stations and on TWC systems across the country. Special events such as NFL football games, will be carried in the 1080i HDTV format.Jonathan Klein, CBS TV Systems President, said of the agreement: ìIf digital television is to flourish, broadcast television and cable companies must work together to make sure that the signal makes it to the people who really count, our viewers.îTWC CEO Joseph Collins said he is ìa strong believer in HDTV, and this agreement is an unequivocal demonstration of our commitment to provide it to our customers.î
