American Expands DVD Service

American Airlines announced that it is expanding DVD service to the first-class cabins of Boeing 767 airplanes that fly international routes and nonstop US transcontinental flights, adding DVDs to a wider range of flights between the United States and both Europe and South America. As a result, American will be offering the format to first-class passengers in 28 markets. The DVD players are presented to first-class customers with a movie library containing up to 20 DVDs of popular movies. Titles include comedies, action adventures and dramas in a package American calls the ""In-flight Theater."" American has been offering the DVD format for viewing in first-class cabins since September 1999. Source: CreativePlanet.com
