LFCA Conference And Large Format Film Festival Address An Industry In The Midst Of Dramatic Growth And Change

Andrew Gellis will chair Sessions and Panels for LFCA 2000, the annual Conference and Film Festival of the Large Format Cinema Association, May 17-20 in Los Angeles, California. LFCA is a nonprofit organization serving all branches of the international large format cinema industry and Gellis is a member of the LFCA Board of Directors. As Sessions & Panels Chair for LFCA 2000, Andrew Gellis is responsible for bringing together prominent industry voices to address topics of current interest. A look at various corporations, such as Ogden and Discovery Channel, that have recently closed their large format film operations This fourth annual LFCA Conference will feature panel discussions on vital industry topics, technical sessions, historical tributes and awards and a keynote presentation. As part of the conference, the LFCA Kodak Vision Award will be presented to a distinguished large format cinematographer, filmmaker or director. The Large Format Film Festival will present new films in 15/70 and 8/70 formats. On Saturday, May 20, a variety of LFCA member companies in the Los Angeles, California area will host open houses.
