Monster Cable Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-end speaker, audio, video and computer cables and accessories, is adding MonsterÆ FireLinkô IEEE 1394 Digital Camcorder to Computer, HDTV, or VCR cable (J2 DCAM) to the line-up of Just Hook it UpÆ products. J2 DCAM is Monsterís very latest in digital technology designed for hookup of digital camcorders to other IEEE 1394 devices like computers, HDTVs and VCRs. Monster FireLink IEEE 1394 Ultra High Speed Multimedia Connection (JP FLPC HP) is designed for hookup of a digital monitor, DVD Player, HDTV and A/V receiver to a Mac or PC computer. JP FLPC HP offers an ultra-high speed portal into the new digital technology that links audio/video components to computers. Just Hook it UpÆ packaging, says the company, is for customers who want to get all of the performance they paid for from their components, with the least amount of hookup confusion. Choosing the right cable to connect products with new digital technology can be daunting, to say the least. Monster has designed its Just Hook It UpÆ program to make the process of choosing the right cables for every application easy and intuitive. The programís color-coded, easy-to-read packaging clearly spells out which cables connect different components. Users simply identify what they're hooking up, such as a Digital Camcorder to a Computer. They look at the Monster hookup diagram and identify the product name and corresponding color on the package. Monster FireLink IEEE 1394 cables move large amounts of data quickly and error-free. FireLink boasts a data transfer rate of 1.6 gigabit per second for the fastest possible data transfer for digital video and multimedia connections. Advanced technologies include impedance-controlled conductors, a unique gas-injected dielectric for extended frequency response, and quad shielding for maximum EM and rejection of RF interference and superior data transfer. FireLink features Monsterís XLNÆ construction, which the company says eliminates ""noise"" between conductors and tightly twisted conductors for ultra-low signal loss.
