Paramount To Expand DVD Overseas

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that the first release of DVD titles in Europe and Japan will begin in April 2000. The announcement comes as the studio has committed to synchronizing releases of Paramount titles on both DVD and VHS under one sales umbrella. It is the studio's intention that after the initial start phase, DVD titles will be released in line with the VHS dates.
