Constellation 3D, Inc. (OTC BB: CFMD) (C3D) announced a number of important events that demonstrate its advanced technological capabilities.1. In connection with the pending merger with Reflekt Technology, Inc., C3D has developed equipment that will be used to replicate both ROM and WORM media, thereby significantly reducing the cost of providing this combined capability. It is anticipated that production of this breakthrough equipment will occur in early 2001. This represents a major advance from the equipment currently used in CD/DVD replication, which requires separate production machinery for replication of both ROM and WORM media. In addition, the new equipment will be capable of being used for replication of media in multiple form factors, including C3D's forthcoming 120mm Discs and credit card sized ClearCardô. Vladimir Schwartz, President of Reflekt Technology, stated ""The merger of C3D and Reflekt Technology will result in major technological advancements in the field of optical data storage, such as illustrated by this new equipment.""2. As part of the implementation of its industrial production plans announced on February 7, 2000, C3D will demonstrate in April 2000 a prototype video player to be used with a ten-layer Video Fluorescent Multilayer Disk containing uncompressed audiovisual data with an equivalent capacity of 50GB. This will prepare the way for the announcement thereafter of the primary specifications and parameters of C3D's family of multilayer DVD-density disc products.Constellation 3D, Inc. has offices in New York, Florida and California, and laboratories in Israel and Russia. Research is conducted by an internationally renowned team of scientists currently holding over 60 worldwide patents and patent applications in the field of optical data storage.
