Speaker Maker Genesis Technology Announces Changes
Genesis Technology, the high-end audiophile loudspeaker manufacturer, has announced some important changes to their business. Many unfounded rumors are circulating throughout out industry that the company believes require clarification, or in most cases, need to be dispelled in their entirety. Paul McGowan has, in fact, stepped down as President of Genesis Technologies Inc. to pursue his own interests. Arnie Nudell has assumed McGowanís role as President of the company. Mr. Nudell can be reach at Genesis on a day-to-day basis. Nudell comments, ""All of us join in wishing out friend and former partner the very best of success in his new incarnation of PS Audio. We all feel that these changes will be good for each of us personally, as well as for each business entity."" Mark L. Schifter has also started his own business again. Mr. Schifterís role as the Executive Vice President has not been filled as such, but the company has hired industry veteran Dick McConser to take over the Sales and Marketing role in the title of National Sales Director. Mr. Schifter will remain a Genesis shareholder and will act as an active participant in the area of international sales and marketing. The companyís plan is for Schifter to transition out of the main business by mid-year, acting as a consultant thereafter. Schifter has been available to Genesisí new dealers and distributors for contact via his new business, Perpetual Technologies, should they have any questions or needs. Schifter offers this comment, ""Dick McConser is someone I respect and admire greatly. He is certain to be a marvelous asset to Genesis and its partners, and I look forward to working closely with Dick during this transition period. Future plans call for a stronger U.S. based presence with products specifically designed for the new market opportunities that have emerged. New updates are available now for current Signature Products. These include the G-2000 servo amplifier and Genesisí easy to install Ribbon Midrange upgrade.
