i-Oís Televizer Portable DVD-Video Theatre

i-O Display Systems LLC has introduced the Televizer portable DVD-Video theatre. Televizer allows users to watch DVD movies anywhere by putting on the I-glasses Personal Display System. Business travelers can also use the Televizer as a sales presentation system for DVD- VideoCD-based presentations. The system includes Panasonicís P-10 portable DVD-Video player, an eight-ounce pair of I-glasses manufactured by i-O Display Systems, and a custom carrying case. It also includes a rechargeable battery that provides 3-1/2 hours of movie watching per charge. When connected to a video source such as DVD, VCR, LaserDisc or video game, the I-glasses create the illusion of an 80-inch screen floating 11 feet away from the viewer, while over-the-ear headphones provide stereo sound.The Televizer is available now at a suggested retail price of $1,495.
