At the recent National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas Internet audio and video streaming was a topic of interest to attendees. Broadcast.com, who has a deal with Trimark Pictures to stream its movies over the Internet, said it is pursuing similar ventures with other studios without naming one. ""Weíll release films, but thatís not our main focus,"" President and Co-Founder Mark Cuban told Daily Variety. ""The bigger benefit we can bring to a movie on the Internet is marketing."" He said Broadcast.com will suggest movie titles to frequent visitors and include e-commerce features enabling users to buy videocassettes and DVDs directly from studios.
