Monster Cable Holds Summit By The Bay VI

Monster CableÆ held its annual Rep, Distributor and Dealer Summit form Sunday, April 11 to Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at the Chinatown Holiday Inn in San Francisco. The Summit By The Bay is a yearly gathering of Monsterís corporate staff with the worldwide network of Monster sales reps, retail buyers and distributors for four days of ""Monsterization."" Over three hundred Monsters attended four days of meetings, training sessions and social events. The Summit By The Bay VI spanned a wide variety of subjects from new product information to e-commerce to M4 implementation, Monsterís acclaimed dealer success program. The Head Monster, Noel Lee, drew laughs from the crowd when he began proceedings dressed as Tinky-Winky, the controversial Teletubby character who is a particular San Francisco favorite. Lee then presided over the events along with Monsters Irene Baran, Rex Halversno, Chris Stagg and Bill Johnson. Product training included in-depth sessions on new Monster Power products, CI products including Monster Central structured wiring and Wire America, new high-end M SeriesÆ Car Audio products and Entech audio and video components. Many of the sales and marketing training sessions focused on the highly successful M4 Dealer Success Program. This unique program was developed by Noel Lee for the sales and marketing of Monster Cable products. Special guest speakers Tom martin of Sound Advice in Dania, Florida and Dan Kline of Tweeter in Canton, Massachusetts shared stories of their extraordinary successes with the M4 program. The culmination of events for Summit By The Bay VI was a wine and cheese reception at Monsterís new 220,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Brisbane, California, just south of San Francisco.
