The two-system CinemA 5.1 series, which are THXÆ-certified, are designed for in-wall installation. The announcement was made at the Hi-Fi í99 Home Theater and Specialty Audio Show held in Chicago, Illinois at the Palmer House Hilton, May 12-16. All CinemA5.1 Left/Center/Right (LCR) components utilize three-way driver technology. Sonanceís exclusive adjustable midrange/tweeter array of the LCR speakers is designed with a five-degree tilt to achieve optimal imaging and superior dialogue intelligibility from a variety of mounting options. System One System One matches three identical high performance LCR in-wall speakers with two timbre matched suround speakers with 150 watts of power handling and 90db efficiency (1w/1M). The suggested retail price is $625. System Two Sonanceís System Two CinemA 5.1 system provides200 watts of power handling using all identical aluminum LCR drivers and timbre matched dipolar design surround speakers The suggested retail price is $1,225.
