FX Legendary Visual Effects Supervisor Dennis Muren Gets Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Legendary visual effects supervisor Dennis Muren of Lucasfilmís Industrial Light & Magic is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony at 11:30 am today. Muren has won eight visual effects OscarsÆ, the most Academy AwardÆ wins by any living person. His previous work can be seen in ""Jurassic Park,"" ""Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom,"" to name two. The 52-year-old Glendale, California native most recent FX achievements can be seen in ""Star Wars: Episode I ñ The Phantom Menace."" Murenís star will be placed at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Guinness Museum of World Records.
