Pioneerís New Plasma Displays To Be Showcased At INFOCOMM

Pioneer will be introducing two new plasma displays, the PDP-V502 (50-inch) and the PDP-V402 (40-inch) at the INFOCOMM International Expo í99, June 8-12, 1999, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida. The new 50-inch panel is said to feature the highest resolution as well as the brightest display currently available in the widescreen 1.78:1 (16:9) aspect ratio. Additional display products include the PDP-V501, featuring true XGA (1024x768) images and a 1.78:1 widescreen aspect ratio; the PDP-V401, a 40-inch VGA plasma display panel delivering bright, even colors, high contrast ratios, high resolution and 160-degree viewing angles, all in an ultra-thin cabinet that weights about 67 pounds.
