Digital TV Predictions

According to a new report, ""The Interactive Home,"" from market analysts Strategy Analytics Research, upwards of 20 million homes around the world have made the switch to digital TV. The total is projected to grow to 34 million by the end of 1999.Satellite operators are leading the way, with only one percent of digital homes projected to choose digital terrestrial TV, according the report. Itís estimated that by 2005, Europe, not the U.S., will be the biggest supporter of digital TV technology in the world.
