Miller & Kreisel Sound Corporation (M&K) has introduced the Xenon Series, speakers that represent company founder Ken Kreisel's latest design statement.Configured with compact cabinets, the LCR-25 ($299), LCR-35 ($325), LCR-45 ($249), and the Surround-25 TripoleThe Xenon Series uses M&K-designed crossovers feeding European-built drivers: a 1-inch silk dome tweeter developed by Ken Kreisel for M&K professional monitors, and two polypropylene woofers. The LCR-45 uses a single 1-inch silk dome tweeter and a high performance 4-inch polypropylene woofer. The LCR-35 combines its 1-inch silk dome tweeter with two of the high performance 3.5-inch polypropylene woofers. The LCR-25 combines its 1-inch silk dome tweeter with a single 3.5-inch woofer for main or surround channel applications where a direct radiator speaker is desired. The world's smallest Tripole surround speaker, the Surround-25 has the same front baffle drivers as the LCR-25, with two additional high performance 3.5-inch polypropylene dipole drivers on its side baffles. Because of the Surround-25's size, it can be used in systems using other main speakers, as well as serve as an add-on speaker for people upgrading systems from 5.1 to 6.1 or 7.1.Any of the Xenon Satellites can be combined with any M&K subwoofer to form a complete system. All four models come in a choice of black or white finishes, and features stylish curved mesh metal grilles available in black, white, or silver. For further information, visit the M&K Web site at www.mksound.com
