Disney To Complete Acquisition Of Infoseek

The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will acquire the 58 percent of Infoseek Corporation it does not already own and issue a new stock to track its online businesses. Just last week Go Network, the Internet venture of Infoseek and Disney, teamed with Entertainment Boulevard to air music videos on the portalís Web site. Disney will create a new company centered around its Go.com portal in a move to strengthen is Internet business interests by marrying technology to entertainment and information.
