""Tarzan"" To Swing Into Digital Theatres July 30

Following the success of digital presentations of ""Star Wars: Episode I ñ The Phantom Menace"" and ""An Ideal Husband,"" Disney will release a digital version of their newest animated film ""Tarzan"" on July 30, 1999.The movie is scheduled to be screened at the AMC Pleasure Island multiplex at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, at AMC Media Center North 6 in Burbank, California and at the Edwards Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, California. All presentations will be projected using Texas Instrumentsí DLP Cinema technology.The duration of the DLP run of ""Tarzan"" has not been announced. Speculation is that it will play for a few weeks. ""An Ideal Husband"" and ""The Phantom Menace"" began their digital runs on June 18 and ran for four weeks each.
