Audio Specialiste Speakers Enter U.S. Market
Canadian Speaker manufacturer Audio Specialiste is entering the United States and overseas markets. The Quebec City company has been established for five years in the Quebec market, and holds a strong market share. The company offers 30 models with four series of products: the Viruel, Dimension, Crescendo, and Propheti. High performance, high value models range from $259 to $12,000 a pair U.S. retail. A full line of complete home theatre systems including a powered subwoofer, is offered ranging from $1,249 up to $34,900 retail. The company is under the leadership of Denis Guerette, who had owned and operated large successful multi-million dollar organizations. Speakers are designed by Martin Galarneau, who has incorporated a number of innovations into the Audio Specialiste line. Lee Lareau, formerly with NEAR Speakers has been hired as Vice President Sales And Marketing, US and International. ""This company has a great deal of creative talent and successful business experience. A great combination. They also like to have fun,"" stated Lareau. Audio Specialiste offers over 40 optional wood finishes; any color is available in custom finishes. The company builds its own wood and vinyl cabinets in house, as well as their own subwoofer amplifiers. The entry level powered subwoofer is priced at $499. It features a high current twin mosfet amplifier that delivers an impressive acoustic output. Audio Specialisteís goal is to establish long term business partnerships with their dealers and installers. The company will be offering programs and services not typically offered by a manufacturer. Going above and beyond will be the standard, rather than the exception. The Winter Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was the official launch. The company celebrated this event by offering over a hundred prizes and gifts.
