In 1988, Odyssey produced the world's first entertainment-oriented computer animation compilation for home video release, State of the Art Computer Animation. The release won the ""Best Video Art"" award from the American Film Institute that year.In 1990, the company co-produced the landmark video, The Mind's Eye: A Computer Animation Odyssey.
