New Line Home Video Announces The Most Aggressive DVD Initiative Ever With New Strategic Interactive Alliances Internet, Content Development And Interactive Marketing Alliances Include Blizzard Entertainment, Internet Movie Database, Uproar.com, Tog

Underscoring its leadership in the DVD marketplace, New Line Home Video has secured a number of innovative alliances with a series of Internet, content development and interactive media companies it was announced by New Line Home VideoÇs Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sarah Olson Graves. As a part of this multi-faceted initiative, partners Blizzard Entertainment, Internet Movie Database, Uproar.com, Togglethis and Load Media will deliver cutting-edge set-top and PC-enhanced features for several upcoming DVD releases including ""A Nightmare On Elm Street,"" ""The Corruptor"" and ""Blast From The Past."" Each alliance is strategically targeted toward a titleís target audience capitalizing on the broadening audience of DVD. ""Further underscoring its prominence in the DVD marketplace, New Line Home Video breaks new ground with this new family of partners,"" remarks Olson-Graves. ""These alliances enhance and extend our marketing of DVD to reach new audiences including the increasing number of computer users with DVD-ROM drives."" Online Internet Movie Database New Line Home Video continues its relationship with Internet Movie Database, which began with the DVD release of ""Pleasantville."" From ""Pleasantville"" forward, every Platinum Series DVD features up-to-the-minute information about the filmís talent and crew through each discís link to Internet Movie Database. The Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com) is a movie reference source, targeting general movie-going audiences. Updated continuously, it currently covers more than 170,479 titles with over 2,462,516 filmography entries. New Line Home Video recently announced that all future Platinum Series DVDs will feature a link to Internet Movie Database, including ""A Nightmare On Elm Street,"" ""The Corruptor"" and ""Blast From The Past."" In exchange, New Line has secured banner advertising on Internet Movie Databaseís Web site, which will drive the New Line corporate site. Uproar.com In conjunction with the DVD release of ""Blast From The Past,"" New Line Home Video has partnered with Uproar.com, a leading global Internet entertainment company which produces online games. Uproar.com has created a special ""Blast From The Past"" version of its popular Trivia Blitz game, that is currently live on the company's Web site at http://www.uproar.com/games/blitz/blast. The trivia game, which will run through October 31, contains new questions each day about the 1960's and offers players the chance to win DVD and VHS copies of ""Blast From The Past,"" as well as a DVD player. Load Media New Line Home Video was the first major Hollywood studio to provide Load Media (www.loadmedia.com) with clips of its films to be accessed by users visiting the Web site. These clips can be subsequently e-mailed to friends, and by clicking on the clips, they can launch directly to the New Line online store where they can purchase that particular film. Load Media is a young, hip online video magazine featuring timeless clips from movies, TV shows, and music videos in addition to headlines from more than 600 Web sites.
