DVD, Ltd. has announced the first time DVD release of more than two dozen animated childrenís classics. Twenty-five more DVD titles will soon appear with DTS Digital Surround 5.1 discrete soundtracks. In a special licensing agreement with Pulse Entertainment, DVD, Ltd. will produce DVD videos of several titles, including new 5.1-channel remixes created exclusively for the high-resolution DTS Digital Surround audio format. Each classic will also include a 2-channel Dolby Digital soundtrack. David DelGrosso, Director of Marketing for the DTS Consumer division, explains, ""Most of the 5.1-channel soundtracks on current DVD titles, were mastered from existing multichannel mixes from the cinema releases. DVD, Ltd.ís decision to invest in the creation of 5.1 remixes from the original audio elements of films that were previously only available in stereo or mono results in even more added value over the popular VHS versions.""
