DigiVision Introduces New Real-Time Video Enhancement Patented Technology Redefines Home Theatre Image Quality

The new HT-70e Home Theater Video Enhancement System Incorporates DigiVisionís patented digital V-LACE enhancement technology to deliver video images of unsurpassed sharpness and detail. The HT- 70e, which is appropriate for use with either front or rear projection system or direct view monitor/receivers with component or S-video outputs, provides high-end home theatre aficionados with an unprecedented degree of pixel-level of control over video image definition and clarity. V-LACE - originally developed by DigiVision to assist sugeons in making informed, successful decisions in real-time critical care scenarios - is unique in that it offers Video with Locally Adaptive Contrast Enhancement. Unlike other video systemsí ""blanket"" adjustment options, which often consist of a single contrast or brightness knob which affects all picture elements to the same degree, V-LACE implements a proprietary algorithmic framework to parse and adjust discrete parcels of video information within a single image. While the process itself is highly complex, the end usersí steps to achieving a remarkably sharp, crisp picture are few. Easy-to-operate controls for Definition and Detail allow the viewer to personalize and optimize the video image from any original source. In addition, the system is equipped with factory and/or dealer enhanced presets, to streamline custom installations. A wireless remote control further enhances ease of use. Installation of the DigiVision HT-70e is very straightforward. The system offers an RS-232 input for krestron-style control systems. The unit is 2.8 inches high, 17 inches wide and 13 inches deep.
