Jensen Introduces the ISO-MAXÆ VS-1SS to Eliminate Hum Bars

The new ISO-MAX model VS-1SS, from Jensen Transformers, Inc., is a high-performance isolator specifically designed to eliminate annoying ""hum bars"" in S-video signals and other problems caused by ground loops. The ISO-MAX works by passing signals while simultaneously breaking the electrical connections between input and output x preventing the coupling of interface caused by noisy ground currents. The ISO-MAX is also applicable for multimedia and home theatre systems. Since the isolator requires no power, installation is quick and easy - it plugs right into the signal line. The boxxs small size and integral mounting brackets allow for easy rack mounting. The ISO-MAX VS-1SS provides an extremely high 120 dB of ground isolation even with up to 350 volts between input and output grounds. Luminance bandwidth extends from 10 Hz to 20 MHz for pristine video detail. Insertion loss is only 0.7 dB and matched within 0.1 dB typical for the Y and C channels. Input and outport jacks are standard female mini-DIN. The ISO-MAX model VS-1SS is low-cost insurance against system problems. Finally, all ISO-MAX isolators, whether for audio, video, or CATV, are made in the USA and are 100 percent tested to ensure reliability and virtually zero DOAs (Dead On Arrivals). Jensen Transformers, Inc. has been an industry leader in the development and manufacture of high performance audio and video transformers since 1974.
