SelectSoundô Speaker Well Brings Out The Best In Recessed Speakers
The Owens Corning SelectSoundô Speaker Well delivers both appearance and performance by correcting the loss of sound quality that occurs when speakers are recessed inside a wall for aesthetic reasons. The molded fiberglass enclosure, with a unique MiraflexÆ insulation ""pillow"" in the back of the well, isolates the transmission of sound from both the front and back of the speaker. The speaker well not only enhances the sound produced by the speaker, but also isolates and prevents the sound from traveling into adjoining rooms. An integral acoustic septum the speaker from the wall cavity, preventing the ""rattle"" that can occur when the cavity resonates at a specific frequency.
