AudioNetworks Intros Dolby Digital AC-3 Decoder
Formed by a group of businessmen, along with engineers with solid mathematical backgrounds, AudioNetworks has developed a new technology called ""DASE,"" which is capable of significantly enhancing the quality of digital audio signal processing. The new technology applies in all domains where digital audio signal compression or heavy signal processing is damaging to audio quality. The first domain of this application is a Dolby Digital AC-3 decoder, which receives the DASE technology via a plug-in software. The AudioNetworks AC-3 Dolby Digital Decoder is available in several versions: As a real-time, standalone PC application; as a real time DirectX plug-in compatible with existing audio PC editing applications; and as a Pro Tools TDM plug-in. AudioNetworks is also working on a corresponding AC-3 Encoder to provide large professional studios, as well as home studios, with the tools necessary to enter the new world of DVD and multichannel.
