Diva Gives An Unforgettable Performance At CEDIA

AudioControlís new Diva digital audio processor was used in two very prominent locations during the recently held CEDIA show in Indianapolis, Indiana. Diva ñ the powerful, all-digital system which empowers home theatre designers to correct room acoustics, compensate for program variations with unprecedented power and flexibility was the component of choice by the Onkyo Corporation and the CEDIA sponsored High Definition Garden. Recognizing its importance as a key element in creating a dramatic demonstration to introduce their new Integra Research components and showcase progressive DVD, Dolby Digital Surround EX processing and DVD-Audio sources. Onkyo used a single Diva to provide custom delays, loudspeaker alignment, equalization and dynamics management along with precision system delays. Diva was also used to create a dynamic showcase of the various high-definition formats, 480p, 720p and 1080i in the High Definition Showcase Theater in a cinema at home experience. Two Diva units were used to provide all crossovers, delays, equalization, and dynamic management for the QSC/Bryston powered Klipsch Cinema series loudspeaker system and 10 Klipsch surround speakers. Again, Diva was used in conjunction with the AudioControl analysis to control, configure and process the 5.1 audio feeds from both the DVD and D-5 digital tape sources for this 50 seat space which used a 14x8 foot Stewart MicroPerf Screen.
