Representing the ultimate triumph of force over area, the massive yet compact Master Reference Subwoofer contains a Krell Class A amplifier that produces two thousand Watts of power, weighs 420 pounds, has a footprint of less than four square feet, and is capable of reproducing a 20 Hz tone at 120 dB of sound pressure level. Its one inch machined aluminum billet housing encases two fifteen inch woofers, a custom built Krell CASTô-equipped amplifier and electronics, and a sophisticated user-controllable crossover.
