Niles Audio Corporation, maker of a uniquely broad and deep line of products for multiroom audio and video entertainment, has introduced the AVDA-3 Audio/Video Distribution Amplifier.Utilizing features from Nilesí ADA-6 and VDA-6 audio and video distribution amplifier, the new AVDA-3 is a powerful tool for distributing source level audio and base-band video signals for home or commercial application. It features one set of audio/video outputs. The unit is especially useful for distributing DSS signals to remotely located TVs or for connecting a single A/V component, like a DVD player or CD changer, to multiple receivers and/or RF modulators.The AVDA-3 employs IC operational amplifiers and gold-plated connectors to deliver smooth accurate sound and clear, stable video images. Its high-current output design enables installers to utilize long wire runs without experiencing signal degradation. Designed for wall mounting or tabletop use, the AVDA-3 is easy to install.Audio/video cascade output, with built-in impedance matching circuitry enable simple expansion while preserving the integrity of the signal. As many as four AVDA-3 units can be daisy-chained together.Other key features include an external UL-listed in-line transformer, a power input jack and LED power indicator, and gold-plated, color-coded RCA connectors.The AVDA-3 is now available at Niles dealers for suggested retail price of $130.
