JVC To Gain Early Access To TeraLogic's 4:2:2 Decode
TeraLogic, Inc., the leader in digital TV technologies, has announced a significant design win for the Japanese digital TV (DTV) market. JVC has selected TeraLogic's TL855 chip for deployment of 4:2:2 professional-quality HDTV decoders in Japan. JVC's product designs meet standards set by ARIB in Japan. Broadcasters and producers use encoders and decoders capable of 4:2:2 coding to transport, edit and monitor high-quality HDTV video over their networks.
