Replay Networks Debuts ReplayZones

Replay Networks Inc. Thursday unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show its long-awaited ReplayZones, offering ReplayTV viewers new ways to find and record programs automatically for on-demand viewing. As part of the free ReplayTV Service, ReplayZones group television programming into several popular categories, giving viewers a range of options for each. Replay Networks' first unveiling features a dozen ReplayZones, and several more are planned to give ReplayTV viewers even greater convenience, choice and control.ReplayZones include editorial zones such as a Movie Zone that features a variety of selections like Action Flicks, Hollywood Classics, Romantic Comedies, Science-Fiction and Cult Cinema. By selecting a category such as Romantic Comedies, viewers can see a list of upcoming movies in this genre and select one or the whole category for automatic one-touch recording.Other ReplayZones introduced this week are: Sitcoms, Westerns, Talk Show Guests, Replay Picks, Search and Create a Theme. The Talk Show Guests Zone gives viewers a list of all guests on the coming week's talk shows. The Search Zone searches for movies that are either four-star, three-star, foreign language, subtitled or even closed-captioned movies, all with the click of the remote.
