FOCUS Enhancements Now Shipping TView Pro AV 1600; Top-Of-The-Line Broadcast-Quality Scan Converter For The Professional Marketplace
FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE) announced today that it is now shipping the TviewÆ Pro AV 1600, a top-of-the-line professional scan converter in FOCUS' Pro AV family of products. The Pro AV 1600 attains resolutions of 1600x1280 for the professional AV (AudioVisual) market, including video conferencing, distance learning, broadcast stations, post-production studios, medical imaging, data recording, and boardrooms. The Pro AV 1600 is the latest product by FOCUS Enhancements to be based on its proprietary FS400 chip technology. The Pro AV 1600 offers advanced, proprietary technology that yields the best quality compared to other converters in its class. The Pro AV 1600 converts computer images up to 1600x1280 resolution, whether users are recording or viewing the image on an NTSC or PAL monitor, or on other displays such as DLP, LCD, or plasma. The TView Pro AV 1600 family adds FOCUS Enhancements' proprietary 2D Auto Filter technology which automatically sharpens the video image for a more defined viewing image. Users can also adjust the seven-level flicker filter, and can program 16 memory presets for all aspects of the video image. Control over all adjustments can be made easily from the backlit keypad controls, an IR remote control, or the RS232/422 interface. The Pro AV 1600 is ideal for workstation users (Sun, SGI, HP, IBM, etc.) as well as PC and Mac users who can take advantage of cost-effective, broadcast-quality scan conversion. The Pro AV 1600 models are fully broadcast compatible, enabling GenLock to a black burst signal with separately adjustable delay and subcarrier phase. All models convert input from any computer to broadcast-quality composite, Y/C, and component video signals. The Pro AV 1600 is available in three versions: a standard 19-inch rackmount version, a desktop, and a PCI board version (the only internal solution in the industry).
