DVM-2000 12-Bit Video And 24-Bit Audio Fiber Optic Multiplexer

The DVM-2000 12-Bit Video and 24-Bit Audio Fiber Optic Multiplexer offers state-of-the-art performance exceeding RS250C short-haul and broadcast specifications. The system will support one video, up to 6 audio and data channels. The transmitter and receiver modules plug into a 10-channel frame with redundant power supplies or are available as stand-alone units. Applications include links from studio to transmitter (STL), studio to studio, studio to CATV head- end, distance learning, satellite up and down links, common carrier transport, Telco circuits and back-haul feeds from special events. The system is available with 850nm and 1300nm wavelength LEDs for multimode and 1300nm and 1550nm wavelength lasers for singlemode applications. DAS-1000 10 By 1 Serial Digital Video And AES/EBU Audio Routing Switcher The DAS-1000 10 BY 1 Serial Digital Video and AES/EBU Routing Switcher supports vertical interval switching of 1 video and up to 2 AES/EBU audio channels on a 10 by 1 matrix. The unit includes 1 video and 2 audio breakaways, 350 meter cable equalized video inputs and 2 re-clocked video outputs. The unit supports 75 ohm single-ended and 110 ohm balanced AES/EBU audio. The unit supports 143, 177, 270, 360 and 540 Mbit/sec (million bits/sec) SMPTE 259M Serial Digital Video and complies with SMPTE RP 168 Vertical Interval Switching. Remote control panels are optionally available which operate at distances of up to 3000 feet over a standard audio cable without an external power source.
