RBH Sound, Inc., introduces a new speaker in their highly acclaimed MC Theatre Series line. With the introduction of the MC-6CT, the speakers become the flagship of the MC Theatre Series and the only freestanding tower loudspeaker in the lineup.The MC-6CT is a three-way, freestanding tower loudspeaker, based on the highly acclaimed MC-6C. Like its predecessor, the MC-6CT uses a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter and three of the same 6.5-inch aluminum drivers. The aluminum drivers are proprietary designs, combining stiffness and self-dampening properties, which present a pure reproduction of the audio signal.Like the rest of the MC Theatre Series speakers and RBHís more expensive Signature Series speakers, the MC-6CT incorporates only the highest quality components in its crossover system. The steep slope of the crossover system increases the drivers, and minimizes driver distortion. The MC-6CT is constructed using MDF (medium density fiberboard) and is internally braced to minimize cabinet resonance at all frequencies and prevent excess sonic radiation.The MC-6CT can be used as a stereo pair or combined with a trio of MC-414C LCR speakers to create an unsurpassed home theatre experience.
