B & K Components Introduces The Phono 10 Preamplifier

B & K Components, Ltd., introduces its new Phono 10 Preamplifier. This outboard phono preamplifier works with your preamp and amplifier. The Phono 10 was designed using all-discrete circuit topology, and the head amp is switchable to accommodate both moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. The Phono 10 has the option of being outfitted with a digital output (A/D converter) to allow for recording to CD or DAT of your record.Internally, the Phono 10 features FET loading, and uses polypropylene resistors to obtain RIAA accuracy within +/-0.2dB. Other features include 1% metal film resistors, a low-noise Torodial transformer and gold plated connectors.The Phono 10 was designed to be easy to use and to integrate into any system. The Control I/O switch allows for remote turn on of the Phono 10 from a receiver or other preamp, and the Gain Switch adjusts the output level down by 10dB. This is used to match the Phono output level with other source levels. The manufacturerís suggested retail price on the Phono 10 is $498, and with the A/D module the Phono 10 retails for $698.
